All the items in my shop are handmade by myself in my studio in Scotland! I use a variety of different glass techniques to create unique designs and custom orders are always welcome.
This piece was inspired by the idea of my glass animals hiding in a field of flowers with the leaves and blooms covering them but also highlighting their outlines.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Bright Poppies adorn this hiding Hare!
This little hare is made from one piece of chunky 10mm thick clear float glass that has been cut to shape using a water jet cutting machine.
It has then been screen-printed by hand in green enamel and flower colour enamel of your choice, which is fired into place making it waterproof and resistant to sunlight. All my kiln-fired pieces are carefully digitally annealed and cooled for strength and safety.
It measures -
Height - 100mm / 4 inches
Width - 70mm / 2 3/4 inches
Depth - 10mm / 3/8 inch
Weight - 100g / 3 1/2 oz
My little hares are also available as greetings cards, enamel pins and glass brooches, stud earrings, pendants or cufflinks in my shop collections.
