Full description
A clown fish has been needle felted using woollen fibres and a barbed felting needle. After sculpting the fish into shape the fins have been added and markings applied to the surface. The fish has been mounted by means of a stiff wire to a wooden plaque covered in blue silk paper. Two pieces of coral made using hand painted silk clay have been added to the foreground. The fish has beaded eyes. T
The ornament (including base) measures approximately 13cm (5") long x 12cm (4.75") tall.
This is an ornamental sculpture, not intended as a toy.
