Welcome to my Folksy shop! After selling my art and illustrations for 18 months I decided to create a shop specifically for my original works such as lino prints, screen prints and paintings.
Aren't hoopoes wonderful? Their vibrant orange colours and ornate crowns put them in stark contrast to many other wild birds here in the UK, looking like an exotic and tropical treat for any bird watcher lucky enough to spot them!

Full description
This is an original reduction linocut print of two beautiful hoopoes perching in a tree, made using oil-based black and orange relief inks and hand-printed on beautiful 77gsm white Japanese kozo paper. Touched up by hand using white gouache and black pigment ink,f for consistency. This is from a limited print edition of 28. This print measures approximately 33.5cm high by 23.1cm wide, and comes editioned, signed and dated.
The photos I have used in this listing are of the exact print you will receive. As no two lino prints will ever look the same, please check the images to ensure you are happy with the print.
If you live in the UK, the print is sent using Royal Mail Signed For 2nd Class. For all other countries it will be sent using Royal Mail International Standard Tracked & Signed.
