My inspiration for this work arose from my reflections on the journey I was on with attempting to depict ice in a glass after creating the first 4 pieces .How could I evolve the series without changing the basic subject matter? Just by chance, as I was setting up I dropped an ice cube into the glass instead of pouring the coke( yes, no alcohol lol) over the ice, and took note of the splash. The idea struck me to have even more movement and less abstract patterning, So I photographed the action and in one instance missed the glass when I dropped a cube. So I photographed that as well. So this is probably my favourite piece in the series.This piece took me a total of 35 hours from conception to completion. In a line all 6 pieces in this series look stunning, and would be ideal for an upmarket restaurant/bistro so I would reduce prices for the purchase of more than one work and sell all 6 for £1450 saving you £500 on top of the current sale price for each piece.

Full description
One of 6, oil on canvas board paintings ,depicting ice and liquid in a glass. Measuring 44x60cm the painting will be shipped varnished but unframed, for you to choose your own style, whilst also negating the risk of damage during transit. You will receive the work within 5 days of ordering and the piece will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity which also constitutes a Lifetime Guarantee with care instructions .Prints are also available, contact me for details.
