My inspiration for this work was the semi abstract qualities of the liquid pouring over the ice, which I wanted to capture along with the golden glow of the whisky. Unusually I didn't make any prep. drawings as clearly the ice would have melted before I could finish, so I had to rely on my photos.This piece took me a total of 16 hours from conception to completion. In a line all 6 pieces in this series look stunning, and would be ideal for an upmarket restauran/bistro, so I would reduce prices for the purchase of more than one work and sell all 6 for £1450 saving you £500 besides the current sale price.
