Growing up I was told always to salute magpies and the famous rhyme, this always kept them in my sights and at university, I decided to dedicate my final year and dissertation to folklore and behaviour. It's clear they are my favourite bird so I drew one for fun and the response was insane, it turns out you love them as much as I. It was then a request to draw another so they could be paired together and always bring you joy.
