Welcome to my Folksy shop! After selling my art and illustrations for 18 months I decided to create a shop specifically for my original works such as lino prints, screen prints and paintings.
Growing up in the UK I really took our hedgehog population for granted! Back then, they were a common sight, and riding our bikes around the neighbourhood late at night my brother and I would often hear them snuffling along in the undergrowth. Now older, and having witnessed their sad decline I have come to appreciate what a jewel in the crown of British wildlife they are! Living in Ipswich, Suffolk, I was heartened by the global excitement when a local job role aimed at preserving the species went viral. Everyone can appreciate a sweet hedgehog, it seems, and I wanted to honour these funny, sweet, and environmentally precious creatures.

Full description
An original lino print of a tiny sweet hedgehog, hand-printed onto 100gsm brown kraft paper with oil-based black relief ink. This is print number 2 in the fourth variation, of an open edition. The print measures approximately 11.2cm high by 13.6cm wide, and comes editioned, signed and dated.
The photos I have used in this listing are of the exact print you will receive. As no two lino prints will ever look the same, please check the images to ensure you are happy with the print.
If you live in the UK, the print is sent using Royal Mail Signed For 2nd Class. For all other countries it will be sent using Royal Mail International Standard Tracked & Signed.
