Welcome to my Folksy shop! After selling my art and illustrations for 18 months I decided to create a shop specifically for my original works such as lino prints, screen prints and paintings.
I wanted this print to have both a feeling of silence and stillness, but also a secretive sense of movement, to reflect the way the forest may feel dark and quiet at night despite the fact that the forest is indeed alive with animal activity all around.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Full description
This is an original linocut print of British animals moving through the forest at night. The print is titled 'To Run in the Night' and features a deer, rabbit, boar, badger, hedgehog, barn owl, newt, nightingale, fox, polecat, bat, squirrel, stag beetle, snail, mouse and shrew.
Made using oil-based black relief ink and hand-printed on beautiful 51gsm Japanese washi paper in a warm white colour. The print is number 3 out of 4 in the first variation of an open edition. The paper size is hand torn by myself, and measures approximately 37.7cm high by 26.3cm wide, and comes editioned, signed and dated.
The photos I have used in this listing are of the exact print you will receive. As no two lino prints will ever look the same, please check the images to ensure you are happy with the print.
If you live in the UK, the print is sent using Royal Mail Signed For 2nd Class. For all other countries it will be sent using Royal Mail International Standard Tracked & Signed.
Washi is a delicate, thin paper and to achieve the full impact when framing your print I recommend placing a sheet of white card or paper between the back of your print and the frame's backing board.
