Handmade Ceramic Mug with moth
Thrown on the potters wheel in strong white stoneware, with a pulled handle and glazed in vintage white with dark flux decorated rim.
Original illustration is from a collaboration with Ben Rhodes at House of Hawks. The image is taken from his original watercolour and fired onto my pottery in a third firing to make them robust and part of the pottery piece.
Fired to 1250 degrees - strong, robust and waterproof pottery.
This cup is 7cm high with a 9.5cm diameter and a generous 350ml capacity for the fan of a large cuppa!
Food safe and microwave safe, and although dishwasher safe it is always best to wash handmade items by hand.
