Geckos are for good luck!

Original design embroidered on jute.

I love working with colourful shiny threads so much in contrast with the rustic jute.
I love the tactile experience of this difference too!
It makes a good journal for notes taking, or a sketchbook to draw in.
The journal is bookbound by hand with Irish linen thread.
Paper is bright yellow, hand torn, and it is 80 g/m.
It measures approx 16 x 11.5 cm and it contains 180 pages ( 360 both sides)

My daughter asked me about the animals that are supposed to bring good luck into your life. First one you think about is the ladybird, then the owl, and then...the gecko!
We thought it is a very special little animal, that moves in a funny way and deserved to be represented on a journal.
I added the yellow pages to make it different.
( but if you prefer it with white pages I can change it).
