Full description
Hand turned brown oak burr quartz clock. The air dried oak burr was turned, sanded and sealed then finished with hard-wearing melamine lacquer. It has a matt/satin effect finish so the beauty of the wood burrs shows through. It has been running and keeping good time since I made it in December and will be supplied with a new AA battery ready to insert. There is a very slight "ticking" from the mechanism, the lower spacer has an adhesive foam tape to protect wall coverings. The clock face is approx. 230mm in diameter and 18mm thick, when hanging it stands off the wall approximately 35mm.
