Hello! Welcome to my Folksy Art Shop.
I am a UK based artist living in the West Midlands where I produce the original linocut prints and paintings. My work is inspired by all the lovely places I have travelled to and collected photo's and memories of over the years. Nature and landscape are 2 of my biggest inspirations.
I graduated from Birmingham Polytechnic in Graphic Design back in 1988 and have practised my art ever since. For a number of years I specialised in pen and ink drawings but over the past few years I have explored other media, and I'm always open to trying new materials and art forms.

Full description
This is an original hand pressed linocut of the Start Point Lighthouse which stands on the rugged south Devon coast. It is based on photographs I took while visiting the area a number of years ago.
I created this print at home using the back of a spoon in 9 pressings.
This is the 5th of an edition of 10 prints. As this is a reduction linocut print there will be no other original prints made from the plate, as the plate is destroyed during the creation process.
The artwork is printed in Schmincke Aqua Linoldruck Linoprint Ink (Water Based) on Winsor and Newton Cartridge Paper 220gsm.
The print measures 6 inches by 4 inches. The paper is hand cut to approx. A5.
The print will come unframed and unmounted.
I will mail the print out to you in a cellophane packet with a small signed Certificate of Authenticity.
I will post it out to you in a board backed envelope and I will send it 1st class Royal Mail Standard Delivery or Standard International Delivery if sending overseas.
