Cyanotype printing is an early form of photography from the 19th century, and doesn't require a camera. The prints are taken by laying foliage on paper that has been treated with light sensitive chemicals and then exposing it to natural sunlight. They are traditionally a rich dark blue with a white print, however colours and patterns can be added by using water, vinegar, salt and other substances during the process. This is then called wet cyanotype printing. All my prints use plants and flowers from my garden and foliage found on walks around my local area.
