Eco printed fabric is made using garden foliage that is rolled up in the fabric and steamed so that the pattern is transferred onto the fabric. It is then thoroughly washed and dried before using. The resulting fabric has beautiful leafy patterns in a range of earthy hues. Sometimes rusty objects are used to add orange and ochre colours to the fabric. These backgrounds are perfect for embroidering on to.
