The Eagle represents the Evangelist, St. John and is a theme found throughout the manuscripts.

The Celtic Eagle Tapestry Kit is designed to be sewn either as a circle or as a square; Simply don't sew the corners if you want the circle!
Like the Celtic Peacocks and the Celtic Bird, the Eagle was inspired by the Book of Kells.
The Eagle represents the Evangelist, St. John and is a theme found throughout the manuscripts.
It is a simple design sewn in rich wools on a dark red background.
Sewn using Victorian cross stitch, no need for a frame.
