You know Spring has sprung when the daffs appear.
Made entirely out of household string and steel wire, these faux flowers are entirely plastic free. String has indeed strung... ahem.

Spring is definitely approaching when the daffodils appear, so it's with a light heart that I make these cheery daffodil stems on grey days like today.
Each stem is a French-knitted cord of Everlasto Natural Cotton String, threaded with wire and sculpted by hand. The flower is dip dyed in yellow to give a subtle ombre effect and each comes with its own sculpted 'leaf', so these stems look as good on their own as they do in a bunch. But don't let me dissuade you from buying more. If you are interested in a bigger bunch please do message me - I'm more than happy to take on commissions.
The daffodil head measures approx. 10cm x 6cm and the entire stem is approx. 32cm in length. To get an idea of scale, I've included a photo of an individual daffodil stem in an empty gin bottle (hic).
Each daffodil comes wrapped in brown paper and boxed. If you're wanting to send it as a gift, just let me know - I'm happy to write a personalised note too. All the packaging I use is paper-based and fully recyclable and all my string things are plastic free.
