CHRISTMAS 2024: Please order in plenty of time for the festive period. Royal Mail advises the last dates for posting will be 21st December for the U.K. (Royal Mail Tracked 24) and the end of November for International. I will continue posting after these dates, but there will be less chance of the artwork arriving by Christmas if ordered after these dates.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap the painting and send it on to the recipient. Just send me the details at checkout.
Prior to posting, framed paintings will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse internal wrapping materials I have collected. The painting will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed artworks, the paintings will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.
(001) This original artwork is called, "There's Music Across the Fields". The inspiration has come from memories of singing and music when men and women went about their business in the farms and in the crofts. This would make an ideal gift for any art lover or anyone with an interest in the history of the landscape.

Full description
After a long day out on the hills of Scotland, there's nothing finer than a warm fire, a glass of something warm and perhaps a wee song or two. The autumn months bring out the colours of the landscape which is a delight for those who are lucky enough to visit.
This is an original, one-off, acrylic painting on paper, varnished and presented on high quality mountboard. It is unframed.
The size of the art work is approx. 25.4 x 20.3 cms including the mount. My initials are on the front and the work is signed and dated at the back. It comes in a cello sleeve for additional protection.
I post items by first class Royal Mail. I take great care to wrap each item carefully, using re-cycled materials wherever possible.
