This magical small basket with tiny fruts I made with my little helpers, the squirrel family I met last Autumn in Lake District: the walnut squirrels Flint and Perry, mum Fern and dad Oakley and their adopted daughter, the red squirrel Daisy. In our little workshop, Flint and Daisy are helping me a lot with painting and pyrography whilst Perry and dad forage. Mum Fern grows beautiful flowers.
Dad Oakley is using the basket while foraging in the forest. He has a big family to feed and sometimes they have gests, the black cat Furr and the Tooth Fairy!
Most materials are locally sourced as wood and moss but I always bring something from my holidays, so the squirrels have a golden sink from Portugal and some stars are from starfish from Mauritius. I also grow moss and fern in my garden ☺ and flowers in my allotment.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Made from bark 3 cm long and 2cm in diameter basket. 2 mushrooms and 3 apples are made from air dry clay and painted with acrylic paint big less than 1 cm
