What a way to remember a special holiday, or favourite location. These handmade map lampshades allow you to have a constant reminder on view for family and friends to share. The map is visible during the day, but once the light is turned on it becomes a real focal point of any room.

The lampshade is made from maps of varying age which does mean some creases, marks and signs of use. Some even have planning notes or routes travelled marked on but this is part of the charm.

The lampshade can be made as either a pendant (hanging from the ceiling) or lamp (fits to a lamp base). Please make your selection from the menu.

I make lampshades in sizes 20, 25 and 30cm diameter. Please be mindful that a 30cm diameter shade may involve using two pieces of map and may therefore have an extra seam.

I have set my dispatch time as 21 days to allow for sourcing specific map locations but due to a large collection of maps most orders will be completed much sooner.

The shades are made from upcycled maps which may have some marks consistent with age and use. Lined with fireproof PVC coating which has been tested and passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association. 60 watt bulb maximum.
