Remember the whirly or helicopter seeds you used to play with as a child ?
These are the seeds of the sycamore tree , one of my favourite carving woods
This sculpture is an appreciation of those seeds and the wood produced when they grow
Whats it carved from ? yep you guessed it - sycamore
This piece is 20" high , 16" wide and 4" deep that's 510mm x 410mm x 100mm
