I got a job in a mirror shop making comp frames, so I wanted to make some table lamps to match the style. The idea is to have a mixture of machine and hand made, so that it shows that this is a craft, one off unique artifact. It is eclectic and unusual, but that was the aim, with various texture and finishes so that it looks different every time you look at it. I have tested it for continuity, and plugged it in, there is a steel tube through the middle with a nut at each end. BUT. I am not a qualified electrician, so I will take the plug off and it will be up to the buyer to get a competent person to check the electrics before putting the plug on. The shade and bulb is not included. (Be careful as the switch has a safety feature that you cannot turn it on unless a bulb is fitted, these are easy to break so don't force it, put a bulb in and it turns on and off easily!) please note they are "used" lamps, having been used by my daughter for a month. This is a unique, handmade item.

Full description
This is a table lamp I have been working on since August 2021, one of a batch of three, using wood turning, ornamental turning and coloured stain with wood carving techniques along with coloured stains, acrylic lacquer and pearlized lacquer that are see though to allow the wood grain to show through.
