I love to knit Fair Isle, this pattern is inspired by the trees I see looking out of my conservatory window :)

Full description
This kit is of a Fair Isle Hat which is in the design of Fir Trees and is a perfect accompaniment to the cowl in the same design. It is knitted on a circular needle and then you need to move onto Double Pointed Needles as the stitches decrease. The coloured rib starts the pattern, which then takes you to the main body of the pattern and then finishing with decreasing to shape the crown. (This is done by k2tog) There is 2 clear colourful charts to show the Fair isle pattern.
Measurements:
When laid out flat 20 – 21 cm (8”- 8.5”) in height and 25.5 cm (10”) across the rib. Height can be added by increasing rounds on the rib.
Circumference: 52cm (20.5”) to 58cm (23”)
Materials:
The kit comes in a lovely little paper bag that can sit beside you as you knit.
1 x 50g of Scheepjes Metropolis Lyon & 1 x 50g of Scheepjes Downtown Leafy Suburb, (leftover yarn ideal to use on socks)
Pattern
Stitch marker in its own organza bag for safe keeping when not in use.
Options: You can purchase the kit with options of Circular Needles, DPN's or both. Please see drop down box for options.
If not, you will need:
1 x 3.25mm 24" (60cm) circular needle & sewing needle, to sew in ends.
5 x 3.25mm Double Pointed Needles
