Full description
A green man has been made from green wool fibres using needle felting and wet felting techniques. The circular base has been needle felted using green wool fibres and the facial features sculpted and needle felted to one side of the base. The oak leaves around the circumference have been cut from a piece of hand made felt, wet felted using the same green fibres, and needle felted onto the base. A small gold coloured hanging loop has been attached to the reverse to ease mounting of the green man.
The wall hanging measures approximately 20cm (8") in diameter
Traditionally a symbol of rebirth, he is a handsome fellow with bushy eyebrows and a striking moustache. This green man would take pride of place in any home and would be a lovely addition to any collection.
As this item is made from wool, I would not recommend it for use outside.
