'Done Racing' with a 3D textured floral design and collaged techniques

A perfect gift for any Greyhound owner or dog lover.

This canvas is created in a fresh and modern style. I have a great time making these unique canvases, with top quality materials and (of course) the endearing charms of the Greyhound - never disappoints!

20cm x 20cm x 1.5cm stretched cotton canvas

Medium: Collaged prints and mixed-media techniques onto stretched cotton canvas.
The dogs are a print taken from my original pen and ink drawing.
The item has hand coloured, textured medium applied in a floral design.
The canvas is painted with acrylics and embellished with variegated metal leaf.
The piece is protected by several coats of matt decoupage varnish and is supplied with hanging fixings.

Upon payment, your canvas will be posted within a rigid box.
Every canvas or picture comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.

I am drawn to the quite, serene nature of Greyhounds. They are such beautiful souls, happy to be in the company of their humans and content to just be with them. There are so many retired Greyhounds looking for new loving homes, away from the stress of the race-track. This canvas and my original ink drawing was about capturing that feeling
