This is a large sterling silver, Native American inspired pendant. It comprises a beautiful, earthy gem silica chrysocolla stone, set in a fine silver scalloped bezel and surrounded by silver spheres.

It has a patterned bail with a 1 cm diameter - large enough to take a chunky handmade chain.

The stone and setting measure 3.7 x 2.2 cm

This pendant comes with a dainty 16 inch sterling silver chain.

Gem Silica is a beautiful greenish blue variety of chalcedony that can often resemble turquoise. It is not actually a form of chrysocolla. Its only connection with chrysocolla is that both minerals are coloured by the same copper salts.

All our jewellery is handcrafted in our small studio in Devon using traditional tools and techniques.

This pendant is inspired by the stunning jewellery created by the Native American Indians who have great respect for and live in harmony with their environment.
The shape of the foot is emblematic of the footprint we make on our beautiful earth as we live our daily lives.
