Women's Refuge's across the UK provide a safe house for women and children escaping domestic violence. They help women and children to overcome the impacts of violence and abuse and offer a huge range of practical and emotional support.

The Buddy Bag Foundation provide Women's Refuge's across the country with Buddy Bags to give to children when they enter emergency accommodation. These bags include toiletries, pyjamas, socks, underwear, a book, a photo frame and a teddy bear. A Buddy Bag is something a child can call their own, no matter where they go. For each necklace sold, 15% of the sale will be donated directly to the Buddy Bag Foundation, helping to provide more Buddy Bags to children in Women's Refuge.

This beautiful handcrafted starry night necklace features a mummy and baby bear sitting on top of a hill, gazing at the moon and stars which represent comfort, security and protection.

The necklace has been handmade from Ecosilver (recycled sterling silver) and hangs from an 18" sterling silver chain.

The starry night pendant is roughly 25mm in size but this may vary slightly as each one is handmade.

This necklace would make a perfect gift for a mum or mum to be at Christmas, on a birthday or Mother's Day and it also gives back to a local charity...
