Full description
This is a washer shaped pendant, made from copper and enamelled a lovely shiny blue black colour and then strung on a black cord necklace with adjustable fastening.
The washer shape is approx. 1.6 cm in diameter, and is 1 mm thick. This thickness gives a lovely confident weight to the piece and helps to ensure that it can be resilient to wear.
The cord necklace has an adjustable fastening that allows it to be worn at various lengths from approximately 17 inches to 18 inches. The cord is made from cotton and is therefore suitable for vegetarians.
A counter enamel has been applied to the reverse, this is to ensure that the piece doesn't warp easily. This means that the back of the piece has had a layer of enamel applied, often a mix of left over colours, but in my humble opinion the one that I use is more than pretty enough to be a stand alone colour itself, therefore making the piece reversible, see the second photo to see how it looks.
