Four images of sweet cherubs are depicted on this attractive hanging hearts decoration.

The decoration comprises four small wooden hearts, in two different sizes, on twine.

The hearts have been painted, and then sponge painted to give an older, more rustic look, and decorated with rice paper images of cherubs on the front and a small, simple star design (from a paper napkin) on the reverse.

The hearts would look lovely hanging from a dresser, cabinet or wardrobe handle, or on the wall, and also from the ceiling.

The decoration could make an unusual gift for someone who loves cherubs and cherub-related designs.

The overall height of the cherub hearts hanger is 28.5cms; the larger hearts each measure approximately 6cms x 8cms, and the smaller, 5.5cms x 6.5cms.

I have made two of these decorations but have listed them separately as the images are not exactly the same and I would like you to be able to choose which one you prefer. So, this one I term Cherubs Blue after the colour of the swag worn by a cherub on the lowest hanging larger heart. The other is Cherubs Pink as the swag is pink (see my other listing).

I have a real soft spot for cherub images all year round, but I think they look particularly attractive and appropriate as part of Christmas decoration in the home.

And, instead of just one cherub image on a single heart, I thought it would be nice to have a ‘host’ of these tiny angels.
