Full description
Made from a combination of fine silver and pmc silver.
The ring shank is made from fine silver that is hand formed and soldered to size.
The leaf has been made from a real leaf. The leaf has been covered with several layers of pmc silver. Pmc silver is a silver clay that when fired turns to 99.9% silver.
A thin 'slip' layer of pmc silver is applied to the leaf then left to dry fully. This process is repeated at least 3 times until a certain thickness is achieved to create the silver leaf.
Once left to completely dry the leaf is torch fired to turn the clay to silver.
The leaf is then soldered to the ring shank.
A beautiful delicate piece that picks up every detail of the organic leaf.
