These pendants are born of my love of sea smoothed pebbles and sea glass. I make them in series, and each individual pendant in a series is different from the next so you really are getting a unique piece.
I create the pendants by fusing together many layers of glass in my kiln to create a slab of glass; then break this slab up into chunks and fire these again in the kiln, sometimes once, sometimes a few times, to create a series of glass pebbles. Each kiln firing takes up to 24 hours, so you can see the amount of time and work that goes into each piece.
Once I'm happy with the design of each piece I sandblast the glass and fire it one final time in my kiln to give it the lovely tactile smooth satin finish before adding the silver plated bail.

A smooth satin finish fused glass pendant with ripples of teal and aqua glass - they make me think of gentle waves in a tropical sea.
This large teal and aquamarine striped fused glass pendant has an irresistibly tactile matt surface just like a sea smoothed pebble. The curved 'invisible' bail and unobtrusive wire choker means that the pendant almost appears to float - it's a very neat look.
The pendant is completed with the invisible silver plated bail, a stainless steel choker with silver plated screw clasp, and a gift box ready to give as a gift.
DIMENSIONS:
The pendant is 4.5cm (1.75") wide at the widest point, and 4cm (1.5") tall.
The stainless steel choker is 42.5cm (17") long and fastens with a silver plated screw clasp.
EARRINGS
I have matching teal fused glass earrings in both a drop earring and a stud if you would like to make a set - if so, please choose the required option on checkout.
The stud earrings are 9mm diameter and have sterling silver fittings.
The drop earrings are 12mm diameter and 28mm long. The earring bail is silver plated and the earwires are sterling silver.
