Handmade Porcelain Votive - with Bat illustration
Thrown by hand on the pottery wheel in strong white porcelain and impressed with dimples before the first firing, finished in clear satin glaze.
Original 'Flappy' illustration is from a collaboration with houseofhawks, the image is taken from his original watercolour and fired to fuse onto my pottery in a third firing. Fired to 1260 degrees - strong, robust and beautifully finished pottery votive.
All artwork inspired by delft design and from original watercolour paintings by HouseofHawks.
Votives are handmade in Wales.
Each votive holder is approximately 9cm high x 9cm wide to take a large tea light candle.
Porcelain votives will glow when in use, they need to be handled with care and naked flames must never be left unattended.
As with all kiln fired pieces each votive holder will be different and yours may not look exactly like the one in the image above.
