I always loved collecting sea glass, long before I learned how to create things out of glass myself. Lately I've been thinking about just what it is that I love about it. My favourite pieces were the thickest chunks that had been tumbling in the sea for many years until they were really smooth and lovely to hold, and I've tried to capture that in this series of seaglass inspired dishes.

From my 'Pebble' range of seaglass style dishes, this sea green handmade fused glass has swirls of aqua and a sprinkling of white 'pebbles' across the surface.
The shallow art glass dish has a wonderfully tactile satin surface finish, just like seaglass, and a smooth rounded pebble shape. No two of these dishes come out the same, each one has a different depth of colour and unique patterning across the surface.
Sea green satin finish fused glass dish, designed and made by me in my studio on the edge of the Wirral peninsula.
DIMENSIONS: The dish is a rounded organic shape, around 13cm x 15cm (5" x 6") across at the widest points.
CARE: Handwash only.
