The coasters came about as part of trying to reduce waste from my husband's upholstery business and using off cuts of wool wadding.
I had made cushions using free motion machine applique and so sketched some smaller scale designs for the coasters

Fabric coaster with free motion applique pirate seagull
Front of coaster is Essex Linen with 100% cotton appliqué. The coaster is backed with cotton that features in the design on the front.
The coaster is lined with wool wadding
Coaster measures approximately 11.5 cm x 13 cm
The coaster comes in a protective biodegradable cello bag sealed with a paper sticker
Over time and with use, the appliquéd design can fray. This is normal with this type of raw edge appliqué
Due to colours on different monitors there may be some difference in colour to the actual item.
Mug is not included!
