This is a staff I recently made as a commission piece for someone who had seen some of my other products.
I use a hard wood dowel to make the shaft which I hand turn on a lathe. I then hand cut and carve some Birch faced plywood for the finials. Once assembled I add a carved and painted wooden orb to finish off the Staff.
The staff takes about 2 weeks to make from time of order Every stick is made by hand and there may be some small differences from the photo.
Due to the length of the staff the shipping costs are very high. Only a few carriers will accept packages over 100 cm, and they do add a premium. I have now started adding a brass screw connector which has allowed me to reduce the shipping costs. Let me know if you do not want the connector.
