Full description
Knitting pattern for the Alexandria mittens , ladies 2 coloured mitts worked in the round in Falkland wool.
They start with a garter stitch edge, leading on to a corrugated rib and then the interesting fairisle pattern. Waste yarn is used to indicate the thumb which will be worked later and the mitts are shaped for the fingers, The fingertips are finished off with kitchener stitch grafting.
One size to fit average ladies hand.

Yarn : 2 x 50 grams of West Yorkshire Spinners Bo Peep. 52% Falkland Wool, 48% Nylon DK
A set of 3.00mm and 4.00 mm DPN’s
Darning needle for sewing up.
