Full description
Pegasus is a mythical winged divine horse which has been recreated as a woollen sculpture. Woollen fibres have been sculpted into shape around a wire armature using a barbed felting needle. His wings are made from woollen fibres, stiffened to create a lacey effect and his eyes are beaded. A soft mane and tail have been added using merino wool roving. He has been posed in a rearing stance. The winged Pegasus horse has been mounted using a clear perspex rod on an oval wooden base covered in an artificial grass material.
This Pegasus horse sculpture measures approximately 15cm wide x 15cm tall.
This is an ornamental sculpture, not intended as a toy.
