This lovely Georgian chair has been given a freshen up in a lovely pale blue and complimentary cottage inspired floral fabric. It is a sturdy mahogany chair and the upholstery has been replaced. She has been waxed in a clear matt wax for extra durability.
As this is a refinished vintage piece there are sign of gentle ageing. I think they add to the character but please ask for additional photographs if required.

I love antique furniture. It is always so well crafted with beautiful detail. This chair was sitting in a dusty corner of an auction house and had been over-looked a couple of times. I knew that underneath the dust and with a little TLC she could be beautiful again.
I have given her a really good clean, sanded, re-upholstered and recovered the seat, painted and waxed. Now she is fit to live another 100 years.
