Round, 3cm diameter, silver plated, hinged locket is filled with tiny pieces of blue, green and white seaglass, collected from Withernsea beach in the East Riding of Yorkshire and attached to a 20in silver plate chain.
This makes for a unique and stunning piece of jewellery.

Seaglass is made by the action of the sea, sand and stones on a piece of glass as it moves along the seabed, the original make up of the glass before entering the sea and the time it has been in the sea. Each piece is unique.

This will be sent out in a gift bag using 1st class large letter post.

I collect small pieces of seaglass to make this style of locket pendant. This depends on what has been washed in on the tide as the small pieces are usually among the finer shingle. Fortunately coloured pieces show up well, but are few and far between. So hope you enjoy this special locket.
