What is Boatite?
Boatite is known as "Minnesota Fordite" even though it is from the manufacture of boats, not cars! It is from the Minnesota Hydrostream speed boat factory from the 1970's
Made from years and years of build-up, this paint has now hardened sufficiently to be cut and polished. Lapidarists slice them up into pieces and shape them so that all the layers of colour can be seen. Jewellery makers then buy these smaller pieces to incorporate them into one-off pieces of jewellery for you!
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Handcrafted pendant made from Boatite & sterling silver .925
Stunning triangular piece of genuine Boatite which measures approx 2.6 x 1.5 cms (at widest points)
Beautiful multiple layered colours of reds, whites, greens, oranges, blues, yellows, greys, blacks & silvers
Boatite surrounded in ornate sterling silver with sterling silver "bubbles" detail (which I make by melting down my leftover silver!) and solid sterling silver back.
Presented in a recycled, unbleached gift box with mint green shimmery ribbon and "JewellerybyMarisha" logo
