Full description

A deceptively simple design vintage style cloche hat, with an asymmetrical brim and a matching flower. It is seamlessly felted from merino wool with a duck egg blurring into a purple brim. Fine layers of duck egg blue wool overlay a base of aubergine, embellished with a hand dyed silk to give subtle highlights of colour.

A soft, warm and lightweight hat, it can be folded and squished - it will pop back into shape.

Yes, wear it in the rain and snow. No, it won't shrink in the rain. Just dry it in shape after it gets wet.

As with all my hats, the fit is adjustable. There is an inner drawstring threaded into the felt itself - pull the tab to your size and wrap it around the button to secure. This means that the hat will fit most heads - from approx 53 - 59 cm (approx 21 - 23 inches)

I make all my hats by hand, turning unspun merino wool into a strong felt using traditional wet felting methods.
