Shetland Lace knitting has a long and interesting history. Famous for fine and delicate heirloom shawls, it also works beautifully for contemporary designs and everyday accessories. I love it!
The real experts are in Shetland, of course, but I think this wonderful heritage craft deserves to be known more widely - hence my Heritage Knitwear range.
This range allows me to combine my love of Shetland Lace knitting with my huge enthusiasm for independent wool dyers and British producers. All the yarn I use is carefully chosen for its quality and provenance.
I'm having so much fun!
