Love this

This gorgeous vintage mid century Stag Minstrel pedestal desk has been beautifully upcycled in Farrow and Ball Railings No.31 paint, and will add a touch of grandeur to your home office.

The old desk was stripped of it's worn mahogany veneer before being painted with 2x coats of Farrow and Ball Dark Tones Undercoat, followed by 2x coats of Railings No.31 topcoat in estate eggshell. The desk was then coated in several layers of Polyvine varnish for added durability, and the original tattered hardwear has been replaced with stunning vintage cast iron pull handles.

This desk is available for collection or delivery. Please contact us for a delivery quote.

They just don't make them like they used to!

The Stag Minstrel furniture range was introduced in 1964 as a result of a collaboration between Stag and design consultants John and Sylvia Reid and it was possibly the best-selling bedroom furniture range ever.

We've taken this rare Stag Minstrel pedestal desk and given it a new lease of life by stripping it and painting it in a modern colour, and replacing the tatty hardwear with gorgeous vintage cast iron drawer handles.
