Some of my work is currently being exhibited at The National Trust, Lamb House, Rye as part of their exhibition "300 years of Lamb House".
I have always loved wrens - for such a tiny bird they have an incredibly loud song! There is some woodland in Sussex at the South Downs overlooking the Cuckmere Valley and the river. It is such a special landscape that I wanted to incorporate it into my wren print.

Full description
This original linocut and drypoint print is a mixed media piece using a two stage process. I first printed the background as a drypoint print in a very dark Prussian Blue – I then printed the wren as a linocut with black ink. “Wren at the River” is hand printed and hand burnished and each print is titled and signed by me. This is one of an Unlimited Print Run.
The background is a South Downs view over Cuckmere Haven river landscape close to Birling Gap.
The paper is roughly 21cm x 15cm and the print itself measures 15cm x 10cm. This is a handprinted piece of artwork so there will be small differences between each print. I have used Caligo Safe Wash Oil inks, Essdee lino and rollers, Pfeil tools and printed onto Kent 190gsm off-white paper.
Would look perfect in a frame or In turn mounted and framed.
Each print will be securely packed and dispatched within 3 days.
