Patchwork denim weekend bag, Mary Poppins carpet bag
Made from heavy denim & ticking patchwork fabric, this large Mary Poppins bag features real leather carry handles and shoulder strap in black leather, silver bag hardware throughout, a semi solid bag base with bag feet, a twist bag lock on the front, and an internal tubular bag frame.
Inside the bag is fully lined in hot pink heavy cotton twill, and features a large zip pocket, 2 slip pockets a key clip and D rings for your detachable shoulder strap.
Measurements approx
36cm (14" ) tall
48cm (19") across the base
23cm (9" ) deep base
as this bag has a spring frame, it will open out to 41cm (16" )x 20cm (8" )
The leather handles are approx. 41cm long, the detachable strap is approx. 80cm long but can be made longer.
I can't take credit for the patchworking, I purchased the fabric already done, however I can take full credit for the making of the bag from scratch including making the leather carry handles and shoulder strap.
