Please note that though my shop is open and taking orders I cannot post out now until Saturday 23rd October.
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A bright sunset coloured version of my popular Rainbow Flower. It's cut from several types of red and amber glass, all the shades you see in a glorious sunset.
The flower has 16 petals, lots of different shapes and types of glass. In the centre is a special red amber glass nugget with a little dichroic topping which I fused in my kiln.
I've used lots of different textures of glass in the petals so it has plenty of movement .
A silver coloured little chain is securely attached by solder to the top of the Flower with a little ring to hang it.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use different variations of colour and textures of glass.
This piece is approximately 14cm in diameter.
I also make several other colour versions of this 16 petal flower
You should find others for sale in my shop as separate listings.
I can make it in any colour scheme you would like, please contact me if you would prefer something different.
The last photo shows other colour variations of this design, most are also for sale as separate listings.
I'm now waiting for summer and it's a long time coming so I decided I needed an extra bright yellow flower to brighten my day.
