THIS IS A MACHINE KNITTING PATTERN
You are not buying an actual garment. The pattern will be emailed to you as a pdf file within 12 hours of your payment being received (usually MUCH sooner) to your email address registered with Folksy. You will need a PDF reader such as Adobe to see the file.

STRIPED WELT LADIES TOP PATTERN
A new pattern, adapted from one of my 90s designs which was published in Machine Knitting News, brought up to date with larger sizes added. Designed in 4 ply merino wool, but is suitable to knit with any 4 ply that matches the tension. Size goes up to 48 inch bust. Fairly easy to knit - nothing complicated, but very effective. Unusual 'e-wrap' detailing in gold on welts and cuffs. You do not need a ribber to knit this garment.
The garment itself is in simple stocking stitch, with the e-wrap welt and cuffs and a pretty lace hole and cross stitch detailing across body. Very smart, and utilizing unusual techniques to knit.
