I take my inspiration for each piece from the stone itself and very rarely plan a design, I just let the wire decide where it wants to go.

Full description
This beautiful carnelian is a gorgeous bright orange which goes so well with the copper wire.
I wire wrapped the tree design to the face of the stone then added a woven bail to complete the pendant.
I oxidised the finished piece to age the copper and hand polished it to this lovely antique finish.
The pendant measures approximately 23 mm (15/16 inch) at it's widest point and 47 mm (1 7/8 inch) to the top of the bail.
It comes with a complimentary leather or cotton cord or you can choose a matching copper chain with a handmade clasp.
Yggdrasil is an immense sacred tree in Norse mythology. It is the Norse tree of life.
