Drawn by the beautiful textures found on rock formations in the Herefordshire countryside, it struck me that one day - if global warming were allowed to play out - rock might be all there is left of our beautiful planet. And so the textures became meaningful inviting me to use my skills to capture and pass on their message in silver and gold.

Full description
Handmade from recycled silver, these little textured silver and sapphire studs were made to help raise awareness for global warming.
Each pair is carefully sawn and textured by hand, then filed, soldered and sanded, and finally burnished to a sparkly finish. To add a little glint to their sparkle, this pair is set with the tiniest 1.75mm pink sapphires. However, catch them in the right light and their pink is really vibrant.
The sapphires were sourced from Cooksongold.
Part of my 'Solid as a Rock' Collection, they measure approximately 12 x 8mm and come with Sterling silver scrolls.
You will receive the earrings in the image. They come in a grey recycled-card gift box and will be carefully packaged to ensure that they are not damaged in transit.
