Full description

This elegant single piece twist pen is hand made in my workshop on the Orkney Islands, overlooking the sea. For this pen I have used beautiful cocobolo wood, which has a deep dark red-brown colour with nearly black grain. It is turned from a single piece of wood to have a parallel barrel with a gentle taper towards both ends, and takes about one hour to create. The twist mechanic is held within the chrome plated lower finial which has a fluted waist to help give a very positive grip when writing, and the rose gold tip section unscrews to allow you to change the Parker refill. It is about 135mm long and 14mm wide, has a straight pocket clip and fluted top finial. Take care not to loose the small spring when changing the refill.
