I have always had a passion for colour and I began to create this interior collection as part of my MA textiles. The inspiration was childhood book illustrations, memories of happy times in response to a period of personal sadness.

Full description
Handwoven colourful cushion. (28cm x47cm) Woven using a double cloth technique that allows for bold interchanging patterning Inspired by mid-century graphic illustrations and a playful sense of fun. I have created a statement piece to brighten up any interior. The cushion is woven using a mixture of cotton and British lambswool that has been gently felted to give a soft feel. The cushion is finished with a cotton canvas backing and a bright contrasting zip concealed under a central flap. The inner is filled with a duck feather cushion pad.
